Wind power is a growing industry with excellent growth prospects.

Public and Private Courses

With more than 650 GW installed worldwide, wind energy is a booming industry with very good growth prospects. The sector offers good job opportunities, especially in areas such Operation and Maintenance of the parks. Also, within the Solar Energy sector, there are also opportunities for the development of talent and training.

Technical course for the future of solar and wind energy

Skills Professionals is a technical training program sponsored by EDP that aims to equip professionals to meet the growing needs of the energy transition. Targeted at people living in regions where EDP is developing renewable energy projects, the program promotes the development of technical skills, contributing to the creation of opportunities, the economic development of communities, and the cultivation of talent in those regions.
Through partnerships with organisations in the energy and technical training sectors, this program combines specialised training with practical experience in real-world work settings, supporting integration into the job market while strengthening the connection between people, regions, and energy projects.
The program offers training in wind and solar energy, each with its own approach. These pathways help people develop the skills needed to support renewable energy and contribute to a more sustainable future.
