- Environmental Sustainability – Supporting ocean and forest restoration, biodiversity, and conservation efforts.
- Impact Investment & Capital Support – Funding local businesses that contribute to a fair, sustainable energy future.

We believe it is an enabler of a positive culture towards an even more positive impact on multiple sectors of society where EDP operates. Our Impact
Most part of our social investment is in projects whose scope of action contributes to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) but we also use the international methodology B4SI - Business for Societal Impact to characterize and access the voluntary investment and impact on the communities.
Our Social Investment Policy
The EDP group's Social Investment Policy establishes the objectives, corporate strategies and regulations regarding EDP's Social Investment, which is expressed in social responsibility programs and projects in the community through own and collaborative initiatives, donations, and volunteering.
