Benefits and well-being
Our people are at the heart of our purpose
At EDP, well-being is not an isolated benefit. It is part of how we work, lead and grow as a global company. We believe people can only bring their best energy to the energy transition when they feel supported in every dimension of life.
Our well-being framework is built around five connected dimensions: physical, emotional, social, professional and financial well-being. This holistic approach helps us respond to different life stages, local realities and personal needs, while maintaining a consistent global ambition: to create a healthier, more flexible, inclusive and human work experience.
Across EDP, we combine global benefits, local solutions and continuous listening to support our people and their families. Our approach includes health and prevention, mental health support, flexible work practices, family and care benefits, learning and career development, financial security and community engagement.
We are also committed to measuring progress. That is why we are strengthening how we share well-being indicators and employee experience results: what matters to our people should be visible, managed, and continuously improved.
Well-being by design
At EDP, we believe that sustainable performance starts with people. Our Global Well-being Policy reflects our commitment to creating a work environment where individuals can thrive, contribute and grow, supported across every dimension of well-being.

We support our employees in balancing professional and personal life
EDP implements more than 150 initiatives, both internally and in collaboration with partners, to foster work–life integration among its employees. As a certified work-life balance company in all the countries where it operates, EDP is the only global organisation to have attained this distinction at this level of excellence.
For EDP, flexibility, respect, and equal opportunities are essential to building a fairer society.
EDP is committed to supporting employees' mental health and encourages the use of the psychosocial help services offered by the company's Social Services.
Through the excellent testimonies of the various participants, ways of dealing with stress, anxiety and depression were conveyed. More than ever it's necessary to address mental health and to be aware that we are not alone.
I'm very grateful to MYM sessions and hope it'll be resumed soon!
Mind your mind initiative
Mental health is a core part of EDP’s global well-being strategy. Through Mind Your Mind, we encourage open, stigma-free conversations and promote prevention, awareness and access to support.
The campaign brings together global and local initiatives, employee stories and expert perspectives to help people recognise warning signs, ask for help and support others. More than a campaign, Mind Your Mind is part of our commitment to a healthier, more human work environment.
