My internship in EDP’s Volunteering Programme was an experience that left a lasting impression on me, both professionally and personally. I met people from very different backgrounds and gained a better understanding of the impact EDP’s projects can have on local communities. Throughout that year, I was given the opportunity to take on responsibilities and contribute to decision-making. Each edition is a new opportunity to welcome students and recent graduates eager to deepen their academic knowledge through a meaningful professional experience. Through initiatives such as EDP Internships, we aim to attract and develop the next generation of talent, providing opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute in a multidisciplinary environment.

The duration of the EDP Internship depends on the location:
• Portugal: 9 to 12 months
• Brazil: up to 2 years
• Other countries: typically between 6 and 9 months

An EDP Professional intern is a student or newly graduated young individual, who has completed their final academic degree less than 3 years ago (secondary education, bachelor's degree or master's degree), and who has less than 2 years of professional experience in their area of training.

We look for more than technical skills and academic knowledge, we look for people who want to put their ambition and knowledge in action.

Through EDP's Professional Internship you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge in your preferred professional area: Management, economics and finance; commercial, marketing and digital; engineering; informatics, data science and analytics; among others.

The recruitment process takes place in a remote system and includes several phases: (1) Online application; (2) Initial screening; (3) Online tests; (4) Interview.

This depends on the location.

In Portugal and Brazil, there is a single EDP Internships job ad that includes several positions across different functional areas, so applicants submit one application and are considered for the most suitable opportunities according to their profile.

In other countries, internship opportunities are typically advertised by functional area, and you may apply to more than one opportunity if they match your interests and profile.

EDP Professional Internship
