General and Supervisory Board
The General and Supervisory Board of EDP is the body that permanently monitors and supervises the activity of the Company's management, cooperating with the Executive Board of Directors and with other corporate bodies and bodies in the pursuit of the corporate interest.
Executive Board of Directors
The Executive Board of Directors is the body responsible for managing the company's activities, under the terms of the Commercial Companies Code and the Articles of Association, and is appointed by the shareholders at the General Meeting.
EDP'S Organisational Structure & Leadership Team
EDP'S internal business structure, and the division of functions within it, aims to simplify the organisational structure while supporting our global operations and need for agility and efficiency. It does so by reinforcing synergies between platforms, regions, functions, and global business services. EDP'S Leadership Team oversees this structure and ensures strategic aligment across the group.
Policies and corporate documentation
The appropriate energy solutions for the different markets in which EDP operates require a simultaneous response to a number of challenges. To this end, EDP has established a set of policies and principles to be applied in different areas.
Ethics and Compliance
We have an Ethics and Compliance Department that promotes ethical action and compliance with the law and regulations in force in all the countries where EDP operates, in accordance with the best international practices.
