Executive Board Member & Renewable Generation Assets
Ana Paula Marques is a member of EDP’s Executive Board of Directors since January 2021. She is CEO of the Renewables Generation Assets Platform and of EDP Produção, a member of the EDPR Management Team, and is responsible for the Group’s Digital & Technology and Safety, Security & Business Continuity areas.
Throughout her career at EDP, she has also served as CEO of EDP Spain and as a Board Member of EDP Brasil. Her Group-wide responsibilities have included Regulation, Policy, Stakeholders and Innovation.
Before joining EDP, Ana Paula held senior executive and Board positions in the telecommunications sector, including Executive Vice-President and Executive Board Member of NOS and Executive Board Member of Optimus. She began her career at Procter & Gamble.
Ana Paula holds an MBA from INSEAD and a degree in Economics from the University of Porto. She has also completed executive education programmes at Harvard Business School, IMD and London Business School.
