Vera Pinto Pereira is a member of EDP’s Executive Board of Directors and CEO of EDP Comercial, overseeing the Group’s Client Solutions platform and key areas including Innovation, Brand, and Social & Foundations across its global operations. Vera is also a member of the Board of EDP Spain, EDP Brazil and Management Team of EDP Renewables and President of the Board of EDP Foundation.
Before joining EDP in 2018, Vera was Executive Vice-President and Managing Director for Portugal and Spain at Fox Networks Group and a member of its Executive Leadership Team for Europe and Africa. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles in Portugal’s telecommunications and media sectors, including at TV Cabo Portugal and Portugal Telecom, where she led the TV business and was involved in the launch of MEO’s pay-TV, mobile and video-on-demand services.
Vera holds a degree in Economics from Universidade NOVA de Lisboa and has an MBA from INSEAD.
