Sandhya Ganapathy is CEO of EDP Renewables North America, leading the company’s development, financing, construction, and operations across the United States, Mexico, and Canada. She serves on the Management Team of EDP Renewables, one of world's largest renewable energy companies.
Sandhya joined EDP in 2012 as Head of Investments and M&A for North America and became Global Head of Investments and M&A in 2017. Before her appointment as CEO in 2022, she helped shape EDPR's global growth strategy and expand its renewable energy portfolio.
Prior to join EDP, she spent more than a decade in investment banking, advising regional and global financial institutions across multiple markets.
Sandhya holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business.
