The mobile app created for EDP employees has been awarded with the 1st European prize in the category of best internal channel.

The Annual Employee Meeting and EDP Surf Experience, held this year, allowed EDP to enter the shortlist of finalists in two categories of the Best Event Awards

For each hamper purchased by EDP Comercial customers or the Group's employees, the company will donate a second hamper. Customers will also be able to choose the charities that will benefit from energy improvement works.

The wind turbines are 199,9 meters high up to the tip of the blades, surpassing the height of those operating in the floating wind farm Windfloat, off the coast of Viana do Castelo, which were already the tallest floating platform wind turbines in the world.

The renewable energy storage solution created by this North American startup was awarded 50 thousand euros. The Portuguese Ydata.ai was also present as a finalist in the program

With this new agreement, EDPR has now secured 86% of the ~7.0 GW targeted wind and solar global capacity build-out for 2019-2022 period.

Sponsored by EDP, the competition had different editions in Portugal, Brazil and Spain, and gave more than 10,000 bands the opportunity to move from the garage to the stage.

Six bands will perform at this live show, which will be streamed on EDP's YouTube channel. The offer of tickets for NOS Alive will be made during the streaming.

EDP 10K VR is the first of four virtual races and can be run between October 30th and November 1st

Executed by EDP, it will generate an annual saving equal to average consumption of more than 100 homes and it will avoid the emission of almost 200 tons of CO₂ every year
