The Safe4Sure project, promoted by EDP, ensures the financing of equipment necessary to respond to emergency situations, essential to the communities where EDP operates.

Safety as a priority

Safety is a priority for EDP and this concern is reflected in daily operations and in the local communities with which it is involved.

The Safe4Sure project helps to improve the safety and health of communities by supporting local organizations - such as first responders and firefighters, among others - that provide emergency aid.

The project involves working with local government organizations, non-profits, and other stakeholders to identify areas where support is needed in the event of a crisis.

Safe4Sure provides funding for the purchase of ambulances, firefighting equipment and other emergency response equipment and infrastructure.

Once the social investment strategy has been defined, EDP works in partnership with local representatives to guide implementation.
