EDPR will issue an tender to build a 5MW Electrolyser to be located in Carregado near Lisbon

EDP Group plans to build a 5 MW Green Hydrogen Plant in Portugal and will approach the Electrolyser market to purchase equipment and services for such a Plant to be started up by the end of 2024.
 
EDPR plans to issue a tender during May to acquire a PEM technology Hydrogen production and the respective balance of plant. This equipment will be the core part of a facility to be installed in 2024 for a grid injection and mobility project that has been granted investment support under the Portuguese PRR program. 
 
This funding mechanism was awarded to this innovative project that aims at sustaining the relevant role of green H2 in the decarbonization of the Portuguese economy, through demonstrating the operation of a pilot installation for the decentralized production of green H2. This project has the purpose of both blending Green Hydrogen with Natural Gas in the high-pressure national System and supplying green mobility solutions.

Banco Espírito Santo notifies EDP of a 2.17% Ownership in EDP's Share Capital
Banco Espírito Santo, S,A. (BES) notified EDP that, on the 5th of January 2005, it has acquired, on the Euronext Lisbon, 67,204,883 ordinary shares of EDP or 1.84% of the company's share capital. Following this transaction, BES now holds, direct and indirectly, 79,524,691 EDP shares, which represents 2.17% of the company's share capital.
