EDP signs asset rotation deal for a 166 MW portfolio in Poland
Lisbon, July 31st, 2026: EDP, S.A. (EDP), through its 71.4% owned subsidiary EDP Renewables, S.A. (“EDPR”), has signed a Sale and Purchase Agreement with Public Power Corporation (“PPC”) to sell a 100% equity stake in a 166 MWac wind and solar portfolio for an estimated Enterprise Value of €0.25 billion, subject to customary adjustments at closing.
The transaction scope comprises three wind farms (131 MWac), with an average asset life of 10 years, operating under green certificates and merchant scheme; and two solar plants (45 MWdc) in the first year of operation benefiting from 15-year Contracts for Difference (“CfDs”) and 3-5.5 years Power Purchase Agreements (“PPAs”); also including pipeline for potential hybridization.
The transaction is subject to usual conditions for a transaction of this nature, with closing expected to occur during 2026.
