Yes Sponsorship

It is not necessary to provide personal data to complete the form and for the analysis of the sponsorship application. If, however, the representatives of the entities have shared personal data (e.g. via the contact email), they are informed of the following: 

For the purposes of analysing the sponsorship application, EDP S.A., with registered office at Avenida 24 de Julho, no. 12, Lisbon, Portugal and unified registration and taxpayer ID number 500697256, (hereinafter “EDP”), as the data controller, will collect the personal data provided upon completion of this form. The basis for the processing of this data is EDP's legitimate interest in following up on the application submitted pursuant to the contract between the entity and EDP, with acceptance of the Yes Programme Regulations.  

If the data subject has shared third-party data, they warrant that they have obtained their authorisation and provided them with the information set out herein. 

Please be advised that EDP may engage data processors to process this data on its behalf in accordance with agreements with those entities and EDP's instructions. EDP may to transfer your data to other organizations (i) if required by law, (ii) to ensure compliance with legal obligations/court orders, (iii) in accordance with decisions from the relevant supervisory authorities, or (iv) to comply with requests from public or governmental authorities. EDP will retain your personal data for no longer than is necessary to fulfil the aforementioned purposes, for a longer period if legally required, or until you withdraw your consent. In any case, EDP will always implement appropriate technical and organizational measures.

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction of processing, or objection to processing, by sending an email to the data controller.  

You may also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese National Data Protection Commission [Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados – CNPD] if you believe that your rights regarding this matter have not been upheld.
