The EDP Knock Out Pitch - a space created in the latest edition of the Web Summit for startups to present their business ideas to EDP - was one of those distinctions, in the category of "Best External Event for more than 1000 people". Conceived as a kind of boxing ring placed on an elevating platform, this space allowed entrepreneurs, for a minute, to fight for their project before an EDP manager. During the three days of the Web Summit, EDP Knock Out Pitch received more than 400 candidates, which was also a record compared to previous editions of the Web Summit.
