Today, Moody's Investors Service ("Moody's") concluded its review and confirmed the A2 long-term issuer and senior unsecured ratings and the Prime-1 short-term ratings of Energias de Portugal SA ("EDP") and its finance subsidiary, EDP Finance BV. Moody's also confirmed the A3 senior unsecured ratings and the Prime-2 short-term rating of EDP subsidiary Hidroelectrica del Cantabrico ("HC Energia").

Moody's has also assigned a negative outlook to the ratings as a result of the group's completion of the acquisition of US-based Horizon Wind Energy LLC ("Horizon").
