Pursuant to the terms and for the purposes of article 19 of Regulation (EU) No. 596/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council and of article 248-B of the Portuguese Securities code, EDP - Energias de Portugal SA (“EDP”) provides the following information to the market:

1. Mr. João Manuel Veríssimo Marques da Cruz, member of EDP Executive Board of Directors, informed EDP that, he has sold 1,200 shares of EDP Renováveis S.A. (“EDPR”) through EDP’s tender offer over EDPR’s share capital, at a price of 6.75 euros per share.

2. Following the above-mentioned acquisition, Mr. João Marques da Cruz no more holds shares of EDPR’s share capital.

Please find enclosed in Annex the form for notification and public disclosure of transactions on the shares of EDP Renováveis S.A., prepared in conformance with the Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No. 2016/523, of 10 March 2016, laying down implementing technical standards regarding the format and template for notification and public disclosure of managers’ transactions, in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 596/2016 of the European Parliament and of the Council.
