In accordance with article 3, paragraph f) of CMVM Regulation no. 4/2004, EDP ? Energias de Portugal, S.A. (?EDP?) hereby informs that the Annual General Meeting held on 10 April 2008 resolved to elect as members of the General and Supervisory Board, until the end of the 2006-2008 mandate:

- Cajastur Inversiones, S.A., a company incorporated under Spanish law;
- Mr. Carlos Jorge Ramalho dos Santos Ferreira;
- Mr. Fernando Manuel Barbosa Faria de Oliveira; and
- Mr. Khalifa Al Romaithi.

As consequence of the election of Cajastur Inversiones, S.A. as member of the General and Supervisory Board, this company appointed Mr. Manuel Menendez Menendez as representative to exercise the office.

Mr. Manuel Menendez Menendez had resigned from the General and Supervisory Board in the 29th February, under the condition of election of Cajastur Inversiones, S.A..
