In accordance with Article 248-B of the Portuguese Securities Code and Article 14 of Regulation 5/2008 of the Portuguese Securities Market Commission, EDP - Energias de Portugal, S.A. ("EDP") hereby informs the market and the general public that were attributable to Mr. Luis Filipe Pereira, member of EDP General and Supervisory Board, 4,233 EDP shares which corresponds to 0.0001% of EDP's share capital and voting rights.

The increase in attributable participation resulted from the fact that on June 12th, 2014, EDP transferred to Mr. Luis Filipe Pereira's wife, through a transaction carried "over-the-counter", a total of 2,774 shares which corresponds to 0.00008% of EDP's share capital and voting rights with a unit price of €3.5 per share.

This transaction relates to shares that were part of the treasury stock of EDP and were delivered to EDP Group employees, as payment in kind of a part of the annual bonus granted in accordance with both the company's and the individual performances during the year 2013, which potential attribution is decided on an annual basis by the Executive Board of Directors, in accordance with standards previously set out.
