No passado dia 31 de Outubro, foi adjudicado provisoriamente à HC Energia o fornecimento de 276 de pontos de consumo situados em território espanhol, correspondente a 1.503 GWh.

Following today's news on the Portuguese press, EDP – Energias de Portugal, S.A. ("EDP") confirms that on November 22nd it has received a formal proposal from the Amorim Holding II, SGPS, S.A., for the acquisition of its 14.27% stake in Galp Energia, SGPS, S.A..

UBS AG notified EDP that it increased its holding in EDP's share capital from 2,100% to 2,176%, corresponding to 79,560,875 shares of EDP's common stock. As EDP holds 16.004.843 own shares, the UBS AG holding represents 2,185% of the total voting rights.

De acordo com as condições iniciais da 22ª Emissão de Obrigações EDP, vai efectuar-se em 2 de Dezembro de 2005, por solicitação dos Obrigacionistas, o reembolso antecipado de 8.700 obrigações.

No que diz respeito ao valor indicado na notícia hoje divulgada, de acordo com a qual a proposta da EDP para a aquisição das acções da Nuon se situaria "em mais de 600 milhões de euros", a EDP informa que tal informação não é correcta. EDP PARTICIPAÇÕES, a fully owned subsidiary of EDP – Energias de Portugal, acquired yesterday from E.D.F. International a 1.11% stake in the share capital of Tejo Energia – Produção e Distribuição de Energia Eléctrica, S.A., for a total amount of 1.4 million euros.
