Today EDP Group has reached agreements in relation to the progress of the EDP/CTG Strategic Partnership established in December 2011 and that entered into force on May 2012.

EDP Finance BV issued and priced today a Eurobond in the total amount of EUR 600,000,000 maturing in January 2021 with a coupon of 4.125%.

The Portuguese Government announced yesterday the draft state budget for 2014 proposing the creation of an extraordinary contribution applicable to economic operators in the energy sector that develop the following activities: i) generation, transmission or distribution of electricity; ii) transport, distribution, storage or wholesale supply of natural gas; iii) refining, treatment, storage, transportation, distribution and wholesale supply of crude oil and oil products.

On May 15th, 2013, JP Morgan Chase & Co. ("JP Morgan") notified EDP - Energias de Portugal,S.A. ("EDP") about an increase of its participation in the EDP share capital. As a result of the increase JP Morgan holds 83,245,662 ordinary shares of EDP, which corresponds to 2.28% of EDP's share capital and 2.28% of the respective voting rights.

EDP installed capacity reached 22.7GW in Sep-13. Total generation output advanced by 14% in 9M13, driven by new capacity additions and strong wind and hydro resources in Iberia. Hydro and wind output accounted for 68% of 9M13 output.
