João Brito Martins is CEO of EDP South America, leading the Group’s operations in Brazil and Chile.
João joined the EDP Group in 2005 and has developed an international career spanning Portugal, Spain and Brazil. Over the years, he has held leadership roles in innovation, strategy, sustainability and electricity distribution, including Vice-President of Distribution at EDP Brasil and Board Member of E-REDES in Portugal. He has extensive experience in business transformation, strategic planning and energy sector development.
João holds a degree in Economics from Universidade Católica Portuguesa and an MBA from IMD.
