André Fernandes is CEO of EDP Asia-Pacific (APAC), leading the Group’s renewable energy business across the region, with operations and projects spanning several markets including Australia, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan and Vietnam.
André joined EDP in 2013 and has extensive experience across strategy, M&A, investor relations and corporate development. Prior to his current role, he served as Head of M&A and Corporate Development. He previously held the role of Head of Investor Relations, Planning, Control and Sustainability at EDP Renewables, and served as Secretary of EDP’s Investment Committee. Before joining EDP, he worked in investment banking at Millennium bcp.
André holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Management and Business Administration from Universidade Católica Portuguesa and completed part of his studies at Bocconi University in Italy.
