Paula Carneiro joined EDP in 2013 and serves as Group People & Organization Head, leading the people and organisational agenda across the Group.
She is responsible for shaping EDP's global people strategy and supporting the organisation's evolution to meet the challenges of the energy transition and the future of work.
As a member of EDP's Leadership Team, she oversees key areas including talent and leadership, culture, employee experience, organisational transformation, and the evolution of the People & Organisation operating model. Her focus is on enabling people and the organisation to thrive, while helping build an increasingly global, agile, and future-ready EDP.
Paula brings more than 25 years of experience in human resources, leadership development and organisational transformation across multinational organisations. Before joining EDP, she held senior roles at Cimpor, Danone, Microsoft and Fujitsu, having started her career in the technology and financial services sectors.
She holds a degree in Social and Organisational Psychology and has complemented her academic background with executive education and postgraduate studies in management and corporate governance.
