Engineering - Portuguese Geotechnical Society

Created in 2017 by the Portuguese Geotechnics Society, the Ricardo Esquível Teixeira Duarte Award aims to encourage and recognize the creators of project solutions for geotechnical works (or with a significant geotechnical component) which stand out for an innovative approach to design, execution, materials, or execution control. EDP's project for upgrading the capacity of the Venda Nova Hydroelectric Plant has also been awarded.
