EDP generates electricity in Portugal through wind, solar, hydroelectric, thermal, and floating solar energy. Following the closure of the Sines power plant in 2021, coal is no longer part of EDP's energy mix. Learn more about data processing related to hydroelectric and thermal generation in the country.
A constant evolution in commercialisation, leading the change
At the commercial level, there has been a growing liberalisation of the sector. All this change has driven EDP to enhance its offering through an increasingly agile network and the creation and delivery of more efficient, intelligent and sustainable solutions.
