We are one of the pioneers and leaders of renewable energy sector in Poland and we are focused in harnessing wind and solar power.

Under Polish conditions, onshore wind farms are the RES technology with the lowest total cost of electricity generation. To date, we have built wind farms in Poland with a capacity of nearly 0.9 GW - the most of any investor in the Polish market. We sold some of our domestic wind assets under the Asset Rotation programme to raise capital to develop new investments. We currently have a portfolio of operational wind assets with a total capacity of 567 MW and are actively developing new projects. We are open to different models of cooperation with both other developers and final energy consumers.
Poland has been on the European podium in terms of the growth of installed PV capacity for several years. In 2023, EDPR commissioned PV farms in Poland with a total capacity of 0.3 GW, becoming one of the leaders of this market segment in Poland.
Sharing of existing connection infrastructure (cable-pooling) to combine complementary power generation technologies (e.g., combining solar and wind). EDP is developing hybrid projects with a total capacity of ~1 GW in Europe (60 projects).
