Project overview
Crossing Trails Wind II is a proposed second phase wind energy project in southern Kit Carson County, Colorado. The project will generate reliable, affordable energy alongside EDP Renewables’ Crossing Trails Wind, a 104-megawatt operational wind farm serving Kit Carson and Cheyenne Counties. Located south of Interstate 70, Crossing Trails Wind II will extend from west of Seibert to east of Stratton. Highway 59 runs through the western portion of the site, which is situated southwest of Burlington.
