Project overview

Big River Renewable Energy is a proposed project in northern Gilliam County. The site's installed capacity will be up to 500 MW of wind and solar, plus up to 500 MW of energy storage. The project is generally located between the John Day River and Blalock Canyon and Barnett Road, southwest of Arlington and north of Mikkalo, near the historic Rock Creek School House.
