Our volunteers clean up Xagó Beach

Environmental responsibility is part of our company's DNA, and we have once again proven this with our actions. In collaboration with RENA, Red Natural de Asturias, the EDP volunteers, as part of the global campaign of Go Green, have resumed the cleaning of protected natural areas with a volunteering day at Xagó Beach.

This Asturian enclave, known for its strong waves and natural beauty, also suffers from the impact of marine debris that the sea returns to the coast. Faced with this challenge, 20 volunteers from our company mobilised to collect, sort and weigh the waste, which was then taken to a recycling centre.

Result of the collective effort: 256 kg of waste removed from the natural environment!

This action reflects our teams' genuine commitment to sustainability and caring for the environment. Thank you to everyone who participated for their commitment and for being an active part of the change.
