Public Buildings - Surface Design Awards

Three façades of tiled buildings in Lisbon were honored in London with the Surface Design Award. The MAAT, designed by the AL_A studio of the British architect Amanda Levete, was given an award in the category of "Public Buildings" for its undulating roof which features on its façade three-dimensional white tiles produced in Spain and also won the top prize in all categories.
