Meet Our Team (NM)

Nuno Marinho is the head of Renewables Generation Assets at EDP APAC, where he oversees the operations of EDP’s assets across the APAC region. 

Before coming to Singapore, Nuno was working for EDP NEW, where he led a research team focusing on Renewables Integration and Flexibility and coordinated IANOS – a research project funded by the European Commission dealing with the decarbonization of geographical islands. 

Prior to EDP, Nuno worked as a researcher for EDF R&D in economic and technical analysis of energy systems, including power system's regulation operation and planning, and grid integration of storage and renewable energy. 

Nuno holds a Master’s degree in electrical and computer engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto, Portugal and a PhD degree from CentraleSupélec, Paris, France.
