• A new edition of EDP Energía Solidaria has been launched. This initiative will make it easier to solve social and environmental issues through sustainable and socially innovative proposals.
   
• EDP has opened a new counseling service to aid all entities in exhibiting their projects.

EDP's solar energy project will include floaters that mix cork with recycled polymers, with the ambition of achieving a neutral carbon footprint. This innovation was developed in partnership with Corticeira Amorim and Isigenere.

• EDP Ventures was one of the investors in a €23 million funding round led by Fifth Wall.

After two modules focused on energy grids and renewables, EDP's innovation program is now searching for the best ideas in the areas of mobility and client solutions. Startups can apply until 12th March.

• The first of the three tracks of the 8th edition of EDP's open innovation program is dedicated to Future Grids and startups can now apply until 24 September.
• The selected start-ups will have the opportunity to work with EDP specialists across the globe to co-develop pilot projects and deals.
