"EDP Packs: I choose to have everything impack" is the motto of EDP's new campaign
Multimedia campaign aims to publicise the benefits and innovations of EDP packs, a product that provides free technical assistance and other day-to-day benefits to EDP customers. More than half a million Portuguese families have already joined the service, which also includes renewable electricity.
EDP has launched a new advertising campaign in Portugal to highlight how EDP packs conveniently and simply help families with a range of household needs, reducing energy bill costs and providing discounts for various leisure, transport, catering and other services, while enabling consumers to play an active role in the country's energy transition.
The slogan "EDP Packs: I choose to have everything impack" sets the tone for the campaign and is a play on words: it shows that the packs contain useful advantages, such as technical assistance for equipment in the customer's home, discounts on 100% renewable energy, and benefits that cover day-to-day consumer needs.
The advertising spot features four of six animated characters, which come to life to illustrate the different components available in the EDP packs: technical assistance with free labour and call-out, discounts in supermarkets, a health plan for family and pets, and discounts on television series and films, as well as energy management, a service that enables monitoring of household energy consumption, providing greater knowledge and control of the energy consumed and reinforcing the customer's energy literacy.
The campaign presents the benefits and news of the EDP packs, which are structured in three offers (Easy, Smart, Full) to meet the various needs of families. The packs offer discounts of €50 per month on day-to-day and leisure purchases, up to €600 towards technical assistance and repairs, up to 8% discount on the energy bill and the guarantee of investment in green electricity, produced from 100% renewable sources. EDP Comercial already supplies more than 1.4 TWh of green electricity annually to over five hundred thousand families that have chosen the packs, strengthening EDP's commitment to be not only an energy supplier, but a sustainability partner for families in the energy transition. In the Smart and Full packages, it is now possible to carry out boiler and air conditioning maintenance free of charge.
Currently, there are over half a million families that have chosen EDP as an energy efficiency partner through EDP Packs, a growth of 800% since EDP packs were launched in 2019. Since 2021, these customers have received more than 830,000 annual home visits and benefited from technical assistance 210,000 times, improving the energy efficiency of their homes.
The multimedia campaign is present on television, radio, social, digital, billboards and stores between October 14 and November 3, following the solar energy campaign for companies launched by EDP in September.The creative concept was created by NOSSA and the campaign was produced and directed by Shot And Cut Films.
