EDP informs about contract secured for a 250 MW solar project in US

Lisbon, March 23rd, 2026: EDP, S.A. (“EDP”), through its 71.3% owned subsidiary EDP Renováveis, S.A. (“EDPR”), has secured a long-term offtake agreement with a global technology company for the clean energy generated by a 250 MWac (348 MWdc) solar project in Arkansas, US. 

The project strengthens EDP’s strategic position in North America as a leading renewable energy developer. It highlights the robustness of EDP’s pipeline and its ability to build long term partnerships with major technology companies, supplying clean, reliable energy to data centers across the US. 

This agreement further reinforces EDP’s low risk growth strategy, centered on developing projects with long term revenue visibility and delivering competitive, dependable, and sustainable power generation solutions.
