Since 2017, EDP has been working on energy transmission projects and works in 9 states of Brazil, being responsible for the construction of almost 3,800 km of lines. Among all the countries that are part of the business hubs we have around the world, Brazil is the only country in the EDP Group to hold this portfolio within the value chain.

We are investing R$ 450 million in the expansion and modernization of Goiás’s transmission infrastructure. These investments create the conditions necessary to meet the growing demand from various sectors, such as data centers, high-tech industries, and an increasingly connected, automated, and sustainable agribusiness sector in Central Brazil.
