This landmark investment is the first made by EDP Ventures in a Latin American startup outside of Brazil

  The photovoltaic plant installed next to an operational wind farm nearly doubles renewable production at that location and accelerates the energy transition in the central region of the country. The project, located in the municipalities of Penela and Ansião, is the second hybrid operation in Portugal. At the end of the first year, the first project of its kind in the country has already provided enough electricity to power 11 thousand homes.
