This Dissertation constitutes a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) for the Frades hydroelectric power station, which operates in pumping and is part of the Cávado-Lima exploration system. An LCA aims to assess the environmental impacts resulting from the use of a product, from the extraction of associated raw materials, until its end of life cycle.
