Edp Labelec is in moving process, and after 30 years, we change our address next to the current location

We  announce the move to the new offices on March 21 of Edp Labelec and Edp New.

The teams of general laboratories also began to occupy the new laboratories in April, at the new address: Rua Particular à Rua Cidade de Goa, Nr 2, in Sacavém (Portugal).

General laboratories include the Insulating Materials Laboratories, Smartlab, Metering Laboratory, Edp Fablab, Environment Laboratory (Sampling, Chemistry, Metals and Biology) and the Environmental Chemistry Laboratory.

It will be a gradual change, to not disturb the normal functioning of our work.

There were 125,000 hours of work, 1,914 tons of reinforced concrete, 105 kilometers of cables… Some numbers that are already part of the history of the new facilities of Edp Labelec and Edp New.

The Electrical and Electromechanical laboratories are still under construction, which are expected to be completed in the 4th quarter of 2022.

The Electrical and Electromechanical laboratories are the last part of this change, whose focus remains constant: “New facilities, the same excellent service”
