Winner of the 2nd edition
EDP Labelec Merit Award 2023
This year, Pablo Rodríguez Pajarón won the prize with his thesis "Probabilistic assessment of power quality in residential distribution networks", from the Polytechnic University of Madrid.
This thesis developed methods to assess and analyze power quality levels probabilistically considering the uncertain patterns of modern devices and to perform real-time state estimation of power quality.
This work aims to ensure that the energy transition does not lead to a loss of security, efficiency and quality.
The award ceremony took place on 10 November at the Hotel Miragem, in Cascais.
Soon we will give you news about the 3rd edition of the award, which will happen in 2025.
