Objective: Design and prototyping of a charging station available anywhere (ubiquitous)
Purpose: Request from EDP Inovação to present the project at Web Summit 2022 in Lisbon
Process: Parametric 3D CAD design, rapid prototyping/digital fabrication using subtractive manufacturing techniques (CNC machining, laser cutting and engraving) and additive manufacturing (3D printing).
Method: 3D modelling in Solidworks; CNC machining of aluminium composite panel and expanded PVC sheet for the structure; metal cutting and bending for supports and base; acrylic laser cutting and engraving for panel; 3D printing of frame; assembly of various electrical/electronic components and their electrification.
