EDP strengthens its customer solutions business in Belgium and Luxembourg with full integration of Enerdeal

EDP, a European leader in renewable energy and energy solutions for companies that completes 50 years of operation, will unify its activities in Belgium and Luxembourg under the EDP brand, reinforcing a single identity across its European markets and strengthening its position as a leader in energy decarbonization solutions for companies.

The move follows the successful acquisition of Enerdeal, a specialist in solar energy, storage and energy management solutions by EDP in 2023. Over the past three years, the company has combined its strong local expertise with EDP's global scale, innovation capabilities, and financial strength.

As part of this evolution, all activities for industrial customers in Belgium and Luxembourg will now operate under the EDP track record.

Since 2009, Enerdeal has developed more than 400 MW of solar projects across Belgium, Luxembourg, and France, delivering some of the most innovative on-site energy projects in these markets. Since becoming part of EDP, it has continued to grow, securing more than 100 MW of new capacity through projects developed for leading commercial and industrial customers.

The rebranding is part of EDP's strategy to bring its customer-facing businesses together under a single identity, making it easier for customers to access the group's full range of energy solutions and expertise across different countries.

In the year EDP celebrates 50 years, it is especially meaningful to look ahead and bring Enerdeal completely under the EDP brand. Since joining the group in 2023, the business has continued to grow steadily in two high-potential countriess. This integration is a natural next step in that journey and strengthens our ability to support companies in Belgium, France and Luxembourg with EDP’s full range of energy solutions.
