e-Cup EDP nas Comunidades

In Brazil, promoting interaction and community spirit through sports.

The EDP e-Cup in the Communities is a virtual soccer competition organized by EDP in partnership with Rede Gazeta Gazeta and Central das Comunidades, aimed at communities in Espírito Santo, Brazil.

The E-Taça EDP das Comunidades initiative is a virtual soccer tournament organized by EDP, in partnership with the Gazeta Network and the Communities Center. The competition involves several teams from Espírito Santo, Brazil, representing their cities, towns, neighborhoods or region. It aims to promote interaction and community spirit through sports.

In its latest edition a new feature was introduced: each player on the winning team receives a card worth about 460 euros (2500 reals). Besides the usual prizes, the championship also has prizes for the best fan and the most spirited cheerleader.

This initiative has been contributing to the economic and social development of the Espírito Santo region, helping to change the lives of many young people, offering them an occupation, generating ambitions and dreams, and creating opportunities for them to occupy important positions in the sports field.
