EDP offers young people a set of opportunities to boost the beginning of their professional career, including the Scholar Internship programme for students and the Professional Internship for students or recent graduates

EDP has opened the application period for the Scholar Internship on 28 October and will open the Professional Internship application period on 11 November, both expected to take place during 2025. Applications must be submitted through the EDP website until 10 November for the Scholar Internship and until 8 December for the Professional Internship.

The Scholar Internship is a flexible programme, aimed at students from all academic areas and educational establishments, who wish to carry out an internship aligned with their study plan or who are interested in developing their academic thesis.

The Professional Internship, in turn, offers young people the opportunity to deepen their academic knowledge through an immersive professional experience, facilitating their approach and transition to the job market.

EDP is looking for applicants with a curious mindset, collaborative spirit and learning proactiveness, as well as with interest and motivation to achieve results, also supporting the company in driving a better tomorrow.

EDP's internship programmes provide hands-on experience in a recognised global energy company, allowing participants to develop their skills and gain relevant experience to accelerate their entry into the job market.

EDP is a world-leading company in the energy sector, with a presence in Europe, North America, South America and Asia-Pacific. The company operates on four main platforms (Renewable Production Assets, Grids, Customer Solutions and Global Energy Management), with more than 13,000 employees worldwide. The work experience it provides has been certified and recognised by different entities, such as the Top Employers Institute or Forbes magazine.
