EDP Renováveis secures another long-term contract in Greece
New contract in Greece.
EDP Renováveis has secured a 20-year Contract for Difference (CfD), following a wind power auction in Greece for the sale of wind energy produced by Aerorrachi Farm, with a 14 MW capacity. Located in central Greece, the project is expected to start operating by 2021.
On July 4, 2018, EDPR announced its entry into the Greek market after being awarded a 20-year CfD for the construction of Livadi Wind Farm (45 MW). With this new renewable energy contract, EDPR strengthens its presence in a new market - the 16th market in the EDP Group's portfolio.
As part of its growth strategy, EDPR will continue to study growth opportunities while developing profitable projects focusing on countries with a low-risk profile and regulatory stability.
